Der niederländische Reifenhersteller Magna Tyres hat seinen ersten Technischen Ratgeber herausgegeben. Die detaillierte Anleitung steht auf der Website des Unternehmens zum Download bereit. Laut Aussage der Verantwortlichen antwortet Magna Tyres mit der Veröffentlichung auf Verbesserungsvorschläge aus der jährlichen Umfrage zur Kundenzufriedenheit.

Der Ratgeber 2014 enthält die technischen Daten der gesamten OTR-, Hafen- und Industrievollgummireifen-Produktpalette. Aufgeführt sind auch spezifische Informationen zum geeigneten Transport und der Lagerung von OTR -Reifen, technische Informationen über die Felgen, Montageanleitungen, Sicherheitshinweise und andere praktische Empfehlungen. Eine gedruckte Version des technischen Datenbuchs ist auf Anfrage ab dem 1. Januar erhältlich.

Avon is official tyre supplier of the Racing Series Elite

Last week, the new Racing Series Elite was presented – Avon Tyres will work as official tyre supplier. The new Jaguar F-TYPE SVR with GT4 specification was selected as official racing vehicle. There will be 20 competitors for the whole first season in 2019. The vehicles will be stored and prepared by the central operations team before and after the race.

ZC Rubber: Westlake is to conquer Europe

Pneuhage Group attracted ZC Rubber as a rather capable trading partner in order to operate in European markets. During a meeting with editors of AutoRäderReifen-Gummibereifung, its President Shen Jin Rong emphasized the quality standards of the brand Westlake in the commercial vehicle segment. The Chinese tyre giant ZC Rubber has heavily been investing in the development of the new Westlake truck tyre series.

BRV: Situation of alloy wheel suppliers remains “satisfactory”

This autumn, the Working Group Rim Manufacturers of the German Tyre Retailer and Vulcanization Trade Association (Bundesverbandes Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk e.V. - BRV) again met for their autumn meeting, which was used by the Cologne based consultancy BBE Automotive GmbH in order to present the current results of the Rim/Wheel-Sell-In Panel. Twice a year, the members of the working group announce the sell-in volumes for the past six months (exclusively passenger car replacement market; without sales to vehicle manufacturers and importers), assess independently from each other the remaining demand and forecast the future development.
