The tyre brand Vredestein will connect to Fintyre’s distribution network in Italy. According to responsible people, Vredestein will benefit from this partnership because of a broader dealer network in Italy and an exclusive distribution channel. Moreover, the soft franchising concept “Centro Sicurezza Vredestein“ is said to profit from higher availability of parts thanks to several purchasing sources.

The exclusive partnership with Fintyre is to considerably boost growth of the brand Vredestein in Italy, particularly in the premium and winter segments. At the same time, Vredestein would like to guarantee that its own soft franchising concept “Centro Sicurezza Vredestein“ will survive without any limitations and will be considered for future developments too. As a consequence, the company created a new business model with Fintyre in Italy. Based on this process combination of the two companies and their nine local warehouses in Italy, Fintyre will become the logistics and distribution partner of the brand Vredestein.

Due to the long-lasting partnership with the Italian design company Giugiaro for the design of the whole ultra high performance tyre series, the brand Vredestein has already received a special status in the Italian market. Thus, the company is planning further moves in the European market of premium original equipment manufacturers. Fintyre’s goal will consist of establishing itself as leading tyre supplier in Italy. The company would like to increase its own market share with a new management team and several distribution structures. Mauro PESSI, President at Fintyre, says: “We will aim at making use of the strengths of the brand Vredestein for us and at combining it with Fintyre’s offered competence in the areas of logistics and distribution.“
