According to information from Heuver, the Albourgh truck tyres are produced in a cutting-edge production plant with high-tech machines. All the steps of tyre production are fully automated from rubber compound to tyre construction and vulcanization. This provides a completely optimized and smooth production with simultaneous guarantee of minimizing human errors to nearly zero. Jeroen Vos, Business Unit Manager at Albourgh TBR says: “Our tyre production plant is one of the best of its class, which enables us to be always a step ahead and to present our vision of the future.”
Increased load capacity
The Across series is available as steering, drive, and trailer tyres. The new tyres have a modern tread design with 3PMSF certification (snowflake) as one of their characteristics on all of their products. Moreover, all the steering and trailer tyres have an increased load capacity as standard (HL – High Load). According to information from the manufacturer, the 100-per-cent quality control with strict limits guarantees constant tyre performance at all times. After production, each tyre is checked concerning imbalance, radial out-run, and tyre uniformity. As final control, each tyre gets an x-ray inspection. As a consequence, tyre specialists and transport companies are to expect highest levels of quality and safety standards.
Albourgh does not only focus on producing high-quality tyres, but according to their own information they are also one step ahead with regard to sustainability. This does not only include the durability of their tyres and their impact on the environment, but also the whole life cycle and thus, connected costs. Moreover, recutting and retreading are possible for the whole tyre portfolio. As a consequence, Albourgh’s carcasses get a second life. Furthermore, sustainable solutions are implemented in all the aspects of the production process. The series Robust, Endure, and City are to follow in the second quarter of 2023. During the summer, Albourgh will already be able to introduce the series Robust, Endure, and City.
