Pirelli will support the team Luna Rossa Challenge

Pirelli and Prada are going to work as co-sponsors of the boat. The America's Cup - taking place in its 36th edition - is considered to be the oldest still organized sailing regatta, where only the technologically most advanced international boats take part. In the framework of this project several regattas, events and activities with both brands as protagonist are to happen in the period from 2018 to 2021. That means the first two regattas of the America's Cup World Series in the Mediterranean Sea in the year 2019. Three further World Series regattas in Europe, the USA, and Asia in the year 2020. The Prada Cup with the Challenger selection regattas in Auckland/NZ as of January 2021, followed by the 36th edition of the America's Cup presented by Prada, which is scheduled for March 2021. “Pirelli will be the ideal partner for this new challenge in the America's Cup. Due to more than half a century of experience at the highest level of international high-technology sports, the company will be an invaluable asset item in our project.
