The test illustrates that the Metzeler Sportec M7 RR is a universal talent. Based on the final judgment, this balanced tyre deserves the first place without any doubts.

Of course, sportiness – Pirelli’s Diablo Rosso 3 is again among the first positions. According to "Motorrad", it can be considered as recommendation for ambitious Superbike pilots: "Grip reserves and stability at a top level… concerning precision it is, however, shortly behind the Bridgestone S21". Nonetheless, the Diablo Rosso 3 has now a lot to offer on wet roads. For years, the "Motorrad" team has been stressing the good performance of Continental tyres on country roads. Additionally, the Sport Attack 3 shows a significant plus with regard to wet conditions now too, which is revealed by very satisfying test results. The testers characterize the Bridgestone S21 as tyre for friends of a daring race circuit performance. Nonetheless, the Japanese is not very convincing during the tests on cold and wet days. Concerning the Dunlop Sportsmart 2 the testers criticize insufficient neutrality, handling and precision, which is noticeable on the race circuit and in everyday life. The Michelin Pilot Power 3 is placed at the end of the testing field: first position for wet test, but the testers experienced an “uncomfortable roller coaster ride”. All in all, the tyre gives a rather instable impression.
