Since 1966, the Dutch company Heuver Banden has been a reliable supplier of specialized tyre trade. Since its foundation, the company has developed into a reliable supplier in different segments of commercial vehicle and OTR tyres as well as industrial and agricultural tyres.

The extensive tyre portfolio is subdivided into different special departments. Furthermore, so-called country teams take care of European customers. Contact partners with native-speaker competence in the office and in the field service support and consult trading partners in an individual way. Bertus Heuver, the company owner, regards his company as biggest European supplier in the EM segment, especially because of the big brand variety and the good availability in this special segment. Apart from exclusive brands like Aeolus and Barkley, the company offers all the relevant required brands, among others Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear Dunlop, or Continental.

Gundlach as independent group in the future

The Dutch Pon Holding has announced that Reifen Gundlach and its affiliated companies will change its proprietor at the end of the year, and, in the future, it will act as an independent group in the market. The business area Pon Tyre Group had already been restructured and strategically reoriented since last year. As a consequence, the Gundlach Automotive Corporation (GAC) was created, which consists of a total of seven companies from six countries, among others Reifen Gundlach, Euro-Tyre NL, PTG Automotive Solutions & Services, RG Automotive Solutions, and Goodwheel.

The Tire Cologne: Key players agree to come

The tyre trade fair REIFEN experienced its final issue in Essen this year. The Tire Cologne, which was invented by Koelnmesse and BRV, positioned itself as new industry trade fair. When looking at the communicated registration figures the first edition seems to turn into a superlative industry event in 2018. According to responsible trade fair people, all the key players were already on board for 2018. After important key players of the industry had already expressed their support for the event in the framework of the campaign “We are taking part” in May, the list of participants seemed to have grown considerably nearly a year later.
