BMW has just selected two Bridgestone tyre series for the original equipment of the only recently introduced third generation of its BMW X3. Thus, Bridgestone is continuing its long-standing partnership with the BMW Group by providing a total of elven different sizes of the Alenza 001 and Blizzak tyre lines for original equipment.
“Tyre design and commitment are extremely important for maximum performance”, explains Julia Krönlein, Head of Marketing Bridgestone Central Region. “Bridgestone and BMW have shared a long-time partnership, which has worked as the basis, on which our engineers have together developed innovative and performance-oriented technologies for tyres, which are exclusively used on the BMW X3.“ The Bridgestone Alenza 001 summer tyres will be available for the BMW X3 in sizes from 18 to 21 inches. The BMW X3 will be equipped with Bridgestone Blizzak LM-001 tyres in selected European markets, where winter tyres are essential during the colder season. Like the Alenza 001, this standard tyre will also be available with run-flat technology. Moreover, the Blizzak LM-001 will be offered as BMW-approved spare tyre in certain regions.
