Autobahn Retreading will become franchisee of Marangoni

Giuseppe Marangoni, Vice President at Marangoni Group, and Harsh Gandhi, CEO at GRP, opened the retreading workshop. “India is an important growth market for us. We are highly convinced that RINGTREAD will be a solution for us, which will considerably decrease the operating costs of fleets in India. Moreover, a franchisee like Autobahn is a crucial precondition for introducing these products into the market. The retreading market in India will have to be further professionalized and organized and we hope that we will be right at the forefront of this change”, says Marangoni. “The fact that a highly professional company like Autobahn took a decision in favour of us, demonstrates that we have succeeded in adapting our Standard Global retreading system to the requirements of the Indian market in a perfect way”, explains Martin Kalagin, Marangoni's Asian Operations Director. Autobahn Retreading will make use of Marangoni’s global processes in order to breathe new life into used tyres, to offer a faster service to fleets, and to offer tyre consultation as well – everything aiming at making fleets more efficient.
